Arpeggio History

This is a series of articles (term used loosely) that I wrote mostly in the early days of the original, Google Site version of Ostinato, discussing how the Arpeggio system came to be and evolved over time, as well as... some other stuff. These are nigh useless anymore, which is to say that in making the new site I have incorporated any potentially useful information from these articles into other site pages, but I preserve these here for posterity. Notably, article #4 used to be used as a roundabout sort of updates page for Old Ostinato; I no longer record changes to this new site on it, but the old records are all still there. Much of what you'll find in any of these articles is since outdated, in one way or another, but the final one, written more recently, discusses the transition from the old site to this one.
