Information

A giant Goomba with red-and-white striped pants who fancies himself king of his kind. Technically, he's merely a lesser authority called Goomboss, but during Paper Mario, Bowser used the Star Rod to grant his wish of being king. It didn't amount to much, but the Goomba Bros. do seem to serve him loyally. Note that in the game the Goomba Bros. in this battle started off with only 2 HP each remaining due to having been beaten shortly beforehand. If you want to beef these guys up a little bit, one option is to give them support levels with each other, which would grant them minor stat boosts at the beginning of the battle.

Notes

• There is a Goomnut Tree in the backdrop of the battlefield. If Goomba King attacks the tree, nuts will fall on one of his opponents for 2 damage. If a player attacks the tree, one nut will fall on Goomba King and bounce off of him and onto each of the Goomba Bros. (if they haven't already been defeated), dealing 3 damage to all of them. Both of these nut attacks will only work once: further attacks targeting the tree will have no effect.
