Information
Even bigger than Super Blooper, this one was fought in the Bitlands in Super Paper Mario, preferably by Bowser. Yet again, it didn't have distinct HP, but was defeated by a certain number of hits. It would emerge in the background, trap the player between two tentacles, and shoot more tentacles up at them one at a time. Most attacking tentacles were blue, but every few times there would come a red one, attacking which was the only way to hurt this boss. I've tried to replicate this as best I can, but this won't be a terribly interesting boss in Arpeggio terms. Again, the game called it "Big Blooper," but to avoid duplicating names I've given it a new one based on its location.
Notes
- ~There are five targetable areas: the body, two yellow tentacles on either end of the screen, and two middle tentacles which are normally blue. None of these will take any damage whatsoever from any kind of attacks or Status Conditions whatsoever. When hit by a would-be damaging attack, a middle tentacle will withdraw to be replaced by another; if both of the two middle tentacles are forced to withdraw in the same turn, the second one hit will be replaced by a red one instead of blue, and the red one will finally take damage normally, although it will immediately withdraw (to be replaced by another blue) after being hit once, and cannot be coaxed out more than once in the same turn. After the red tentacle is damaged three times, the Bit Blooper will flee, awarding no XP.
