Information
A crocodilian of sorts with no arms and red teeth that is generally found standing on a floating platform positioned above the player's reach. From there, it jumps in place, creating blocks underneath the platform that fall, potentially landing on the player for damage or stacking on top of each other to form barriers. If U or his partners got up onto an Ersatznip's platform, it would try to hop away, as it is specifically noted that it's unable to open its mouth, hence the name. The nuances of this don't translate well to Arpeggio, but it's got a little more HP than a Volitan, Thaumater, or Gyrricade, making it vaguely the strongest of those original four Lab Critters.
Notes
- An Ersatznip will appear standing on a floating platform which will have a height ranging from 3 to 7, requiring as much Platform in order to reach it with melee attacks. There is room on the platform for more than one character, though, so any players who can climb up are free to remain there for the rest of the battle. The Ersatznip itself cannot fly, but won't be hit by earthquakes due to the platform not being connected to the ground; earthquakes performed on the platform will only hit anyone on it, not anybody else. If multiple Ersatznips appear in the same battle, each will have its own separate platform, likely all at different heights, but players can jump from one platform to another, needing only the difference between their heights in Platform to do so, all of which can be done in one turn before attacking.
