Information
The tiniest type of Gem, and presumably the lowest in the hierarchy, therefore rarely seen or acknowledged outside of their role, which seems to be quickly building furniture and whatever else is desired by important Gems such as the Diamonds. Pebbles live in the walls of the palace, clearly inspired by the mice from Cinderella, and use their shapeshifting to turn their hands into tools, very much like Bismuths. In fact, one of their proposed alternative names was "Bismice." Being so small, they're not powerful, although in groups they do have the skill and speed to assemble complex objects in about one second. It would also seem that they're easier to create than other Gems, as a half-formed one came to life from just a blob of some kind of clay. Despite this, they're fully sentient, and rather cheerful; I get the impression that they're so overlooked by other Gems that they're able to get away with some things, though it may have been more that Pink Diamond specifically let them get away with things.
