Information
A green Gem type designed as an engineer, and therefore not meant as a fighter. The Peridot we know is an "Era 2 Gem," meaning that she was made using dwindling resources and therefore emerged smaller and with fewer powers than the Peridots that had been made during Era 1. It would seem that their primary power beyond the usual stuff is telekinetic control over metal, which makes sense given their occupation, and our Peridot was eventually able to use this ability to a limited extent, but a Homeworld Era 2 Peridot is unlikely to have gone through enough character development to have figured that out. To compensate, Era 2 Peridots will appear wearing Limb Enhancers as armor, which can fire plasma blasts and spin the fingers as propellers to let them fly. They can also build other contraptions to aid them during battle, or they may appear piloting a vehicle (though the dedicated spaceship crew Gem type is called Nephrite).
