Information
A small, common type of soldier Gem usually assigned to either guard an important Gem like a Sapphire, or to go on retrieval missions and the like; whatever they do, it's typically done in groups of at least three, and the group of Rubies may fuse together to form a giant one, allowing them to battle stronger foes. Alone, they're relatively weak, but can use some degree of fire powers. Rubies are simple-minded, described as only being able to focus on one thing at a time, but underestimating them has proven unwise. They always seem to have squarish, afro-like hair, and like Sapphires are significantly shorter than humans. Interestingly, they're the only Gem type ever seen to be able to summon more than one different kind of weapon, but both are only used briefly, and the gauntlet may have only been possible thanks to our Ruby's time spent fused as Garnet. In Arpeggio, both Knives and Hand Weapons usually get two hits in per turn; this would be a little disruptive to the Gems' weapon summoning system, but since I only let Rubies summon D-level weapons of either type, we can assume two hits of Attackx1 damage, which isn't that different than the normal one hit of x2 damage for other D-level weapons.
