Information
A Boom Boom fused with a Pom Pom. Together, the two counterpart minibosses have a good chunk of HP and Attack, can throw Shuriken, extend spikes, make fake copies of themselves, and sprout wings when their HP is low. It's a pretty good combo to challenge fused players.
Notes
- Any time that Boom Pom takes damage from an attack, they automatically, regardless of turn order and without using up an action, extend their spikes and subsequently count as Spiky for the remainder of that Phase of the turn, having the same effect as their Spike Spike special attack. When Boom Pom's HP falls to half of its maximum or below, they sprout wings and become a flying character, increasing their Platform stat to 15 and changing their Elemental Modifier for Wind to +2. If they're healed to over half HP, the wings retract and they count as grounded again. While they're flying, if they extend their spikes either in response to attack or with their Spike Spike move, they fall to the ground for the duration of being Spiky, but return to the air once the Spikiness is over.
