Information
A pink dinosauroid somewhat resembling a Yoshi but with a cannon-like snout/mouth. Eggs or fireballs can be spat out, or opponents can be sucked up. Birdo first appeared in the English version of Super Mario Bros. 2, which was actually a reskin of a non-Mario game called Doki Doki Panic, and in-universe its events are all just a dream, but Birdo and other characters from the game have since appeared in less nebulous Mario titles. In Japanese, Birdo is implied to be transgender, though how this is true of the entire species is questionable. Regardless, they wear big red bows and generally act feminine.
