Information
Not to be confused with the Pokémon Gym Leader, this is a species of Mario creatures that resemble ? Blocks, or rather, a larger block for the head on top of a smaller one for the body, with limbs sticking out and facial features. Females tend to have big, brown hair and bright red lips, while males either have a robotic expression or angular black mustaches (or both). Despite how common non-sentient Blocks are, these creatures are rare, first introduced in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story with the French-accented Broque Monsieur, and later Broque Madame. A few more generic NPCs of the species were then seen in later M&L games. Their personalities vary, but while Bowser did have a tutorial battle against Broque Monsieur, they've thus far never quite been seen as warriors, though they do seem to be very durable.
Notes
- ~Whenever a Brock takes damage from an attack, the attacker receives 1 Coin, or a similarly basic amount of a different currency of the Brock's region of residence. This money is not taken from the Brock's pockets or accounts, but rather generated out of nowhere.
