Information: A weapon that's little more than a rectangular slab of stone with a
handle attached. It's used by Gorons to crush rocks, presumably before eating them.
Name: Stone Smasher
Type: Melee
Subtype: Axe
Level: B
Element: None
Ailment: None
Power: Attack x2 +4
Hits: 1
Information: A bigger, stronger version of the Cobble Crusher. Since it lacks a
sharp edge, it deals damage with sheer weight, but a whack in the gut with one of these is
nothing to sneeze at.
Name: Ancient Battle Axe
Type: Melee
Subtype: Axe
Level: D
Element: None
Ailment: None
Power: Attack x2 (+2 to ancient Sheikah tech)
Hits: 1
Information: An axe handle that, when equipped, emits shards of blue light that
roughly take the shape of an axe blade, which can be used like a real one. This is based on the
ancient Sheikah technology seen in Breath of the Wild—the same technology that birthed the
Guardian robots, certain types of which are generally what wield these axes.
Name: Ancient Battle Axe+
Type: Melee
Subtype: Axe
Level: C
Element: None
Ailment: None
Power: Attack x2 +2 (+2 to ancient Sheikah tech)
Hits: 1
Information: A stronger version of the Ancient Battle Axe, the lightsaber-esque axe
used by Guardian Scouts. If you use it back against them, it'll deal extra damage.
Name: Ancient Battle Axe++
Type: Melee
Subtype: Axe
Level: B
Element: None
Ailment: None
Power: Attack x2 +4 (+2 to ancient Sheikah tech)
Hits: 1
Information: The strongest type of blue light axe used by the Guardian robots from
Breath of the Wild. It's a ferocious weapon that will deal extra damage to those same Guardians
and looks extra cool with its disappearing-and-reappearing blade, but it's quite difficult to
wield.
Name: Ancient Bladesaw
Type: Melee
Subtype: Axe
Level: A
Element: None
Ailment: None
Power: Attack x4 (+2 to ancient Sheikah tech)
Hits: 1
Information: The most ridiculously awesome weapon in Breath of the Wild, it's
basically a lightsaber chainsaw. It technically counted as a longsword rather than an
axe in the game, and might more properly belong to the Saws group in
Arpeggio, but regardless of how you place it, it's like a chainsaw sculpture made out of whatever
strange, stone-like metal the ancient Sheikah tech uses, and when you equip it, the chain appears,
glowing blue and spinning silently. It was actually slightly weaker than the Ancient Battle Axe++
in BotW, but screw that. It'll slice through Guardians like zombies.
Name: Lynel Crusher
Type: Melee
Subtype: Axe
Level: A
Element: None
Ailment: None
Power: Attack x4 +2
Hits: 1
Information: A positively enormous metal club with golden, curved spikes on the end,
generally wielded by a Lynel, a ferocious centaur-like enemy in Breath of the Wild. This is a
super-heavy, super-powerful weapon that can devastate your foes, but first you'll have to deal
with the Lynel using it against you, which is no small feat.
Name: Spring-Loaded Hammer
Type: Melee
Subtype: Axe
Level: C
Element: None
Ailment: None
Power: Long Fall
Hits: 1
Information: It looks like a toy hammer, but the spring
that forms its head is so bouncy that, while the target won't take direct damage from the swing,
they'll be launched so far in the air that they'll take damage from the
Long Fall. As usual, though, this won't
work on flying foes or the like.
