Transformation Stone-Type Weapons
These are items from the Fire Emblem series that certain races of people with the power to shapeshift into animals use to access that power. They have only sometimes been classified as weapons in the games, but work best that way here. This shapeshifting is very similar to the abilities of the laguz, but they use a refillable gauge in place of an equipped weapon. These stones can be used, or additional ones can be created, for additional kinds of shapeshifters than those listed here, but as written they can't just allow anyone who picks them up to transform.
- Name: Beaststone
- Type: Melee
- Subtype: Beaststone
- Race: Taguel, Kitsune, Wolfskin
- Element: None
- Ailment: None
- Power: Attack x1 (Transformation: Attack x2)
- Hits: 1
- Information: A mysterious stone that certain races of animal-people can use to transform into full animals, making them more powerful in combat. The weapon technically remains equipped during a transformed attack, but the attack generally takes the form of claws or teeth, so is subject to damage from Spikiness, etc. Creatures known to be able to use Beaststones include the Taguel (who become giant, ferocious rabbits), Kitsune (demonic foxes), and Wolfskins (werewolves). Anyone not belonging to these particular species can't do more than whack people with the stone.

Their attack when transformed is a blast of energy from the mouth, allowing them to get around Spikiness and the like. For anyone who's not a Manakete, though, the Dragonstone is just a shiny rock.

- Ailment: None
