Swords from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Name: Forest Dweller's Sword
Type: Melee
Subtype: Sword
Level: D
Element: None
Ailment: None
Power: Attack +2
Hits: 1
Information: A wooden sword made by the Koroks from the Legend of Zelda series,
this sword specifically being seen in Breath of the Wild. Being wooden, it's not especially
strong, but it does have a unique look. It could potentially be used as a torch, but don't let it
burn up completely.
Name: Lizal Boomerang
Type: Melee
Subtype: Sword
Level: D
Element: None
Ailment: None
Power: Attack x2 (Projectile)
Hits: 1
Information: A spiky metal boomerang used by the lizard-like Lizalfos enemies in
Breath of the Wild. Boomerangs normally count as Axe-type
weapons in Arpeggio, but since these were used more like swords in BotW, they count as throwable
swords here. This makes them fairly unique weapons, as Fire Emblem often lacked throwable
swords.
Name: Lizal Forked Boomerang

kind.
Name: Guardian Sword
Type: Melee
Subtype: Sword
Level: D
Element: None
Ailment: None
Power: Attack x2 (+2 to ancient Sheikah tech)
Hits: 1
Information: A sword handle made of a mysterious stone-like metal that, when drawn
and wielded as a sword, emits a glowing blue blade made of disconnected chunks of light that,
together, maintain their relative position and function as an effective blade despite their
questionable physical presence. It's generally wielded by certain types of Guardians, and is the
most basic and therefore weakest version of its kind. Nevertheless, it still looks really cool
and deals extra damage to Guardians.
Name: Guardian Sword+
Type: Melee
Subtype: Sword
Level: C
Element: None
Ailment: None
Power: Attack x2 +2 (+2 to ancient Sheikah tech)
Hits: 1
Information: A stronger version of the Guardian Sword. Its blade, when out, is
slightly bigger, and it's typically wielded by more powerful Guardians.
Name: Guardian Sword++
Type: Melee
Subtype: Sword
Level: B
Element: None
Ailment: None
Power: Attack x2 +4 (+2 to ancient Sheikah tech)
Hits: 1
Information: The strongest kind of Guardian sword, used by the strongest type of
"Test of Strength" Guardians. The Guardian Walkers, who use no melee weapons and just stick to
firing lasers, are arguably stronger but less versatile. This ghostly blue sword is sure to
strike awe, as well as massive damage, into anyone against whom it's wielded.
Name: Ancient Short Sword
Type: Melee
Subtype: Sword
Level: A
Element: None
Ailment: None
Power: Attack x4 (+2 to ancient Sheikah tech)
Hits: 1
Information: A sword made with the technology of the ancient Sheikah as seen in
Breath of the Wild. Like a lightsaber, its blade appears only when it's drawn, but as the name
suggests this one is pretty short, and the handle extends a ways to form a spine of sorts, so it
can only cut one way. The gaps in the blue light planes forming its blade are less pronounced
than with the Guardian Swords, making it look more solid, but its overall shape is a little
jagged. To make up for its coolness and power, it's really difficult to wield.
Name: Lynel Sword
Type: Melee
Subtype: Sword
Level: A
Element: None
Ailment: None
Power: Attack x4 +2
Hits: 1
Information: A sword with a short, wide blade used by Lynels, centaur-like beasts
in Breath of the Wild. Lynels and their weaponry are extremely deadly, so if you get your hands
on one of these, your enemies will cower before you. But defeating a Lynel is a tall order...
