Information
An ostrich that may be ridden as a mount by a Shy Guy or other enemy. Only ever seen in the western version of Super Mario Bros. 2, which was really a reskin of the Japanese game Doki Doki Panic, it's a very obscure creature without much to distinguish it from a simple real-life ostrich, but I gave it a sheet because it could allow Mario enemies to interact with the "mounted unit" system from Fire Emblem. Ostros were black in one release of the game and pink in another, while they were brown with orange wings and pink crests in the Super Mario Bros. Super Show!
Notes
- ~Takes extra damage from weapons designed to deal increased damage to mounted units, even though no one is riding
