Information
A creature resembling an undersized Clubba that, rather than using a club, spits up spiky balls and rolls them at its opponents. With Spikes appearing in more Mario games lately, it's clear that Clubbas should be considered the derivative species, but the two are surely related, as the spikes on the end of Clubbas' clubs look like miniature versions of the spike balls that Spikes throw. In fact, in Japanese, Clubbas are referred to as Spike Soldiers. Spikes were referred to by their Japanese name, Gabon, in the narration in Yoshi's Story—bit of a localization failure, I guess.
