Information
A purple Skipsqueak with orange spikes on its back, and green shoes—my kind of color scheme. It's exactly like a regular Skipsqueak, but the spikes make it painful to jump on.
Notes
- ~Spiky
- ~Spiny Skipsqueaks take no action on their Phase of each turn. Instead, any time that any one of a Spiny Skipsqueak's opponents takes an action, all Spiny Skipsqueaks present in the battle will immediately, regardless of normal turn order or having acted already, perform one action of the same type that that opponent just took: those types being Attack, Defend, Use Item, Run Away, or Do Nothing. If a Spiny Skipsqueak is unable to perform that type of action, such as having no items to use after the opponent used one, then that Spiny Skipsqueak will Do Nothing for its counteraction, and Spiny Skipsqueaks that are Paralyzed or the like will not be able to counteract at all. Since Running Away works differently for enemies than players, a player's failed attempt at Running Away will cause all Spiny Skipsqueaks that are able to act to successfully Run Away, leaving only any other types of enemies in the battle, but awarding no XP for those Spiny Skipsqueaks. When a Spiny Skipsqueak attacks, including using an attacking item, it will as a rule target the opponent who just attacked and thereby gave it the chance to attack, even if that opponent didn't target that Spiny Skipsqueak, but if it can't reach that opponent it will attack another rather than Doing Nothing, unless it can't reach any of them.
