Information
A Biddybud fused with a Skipsqueak. Both are enemies native to the 3D Land/World series, and they're relatively simple, but the Skipsqueak requires a special behavioral write-up to translate to turn-based format. When it fuses with a more typical enemy, it gets to have a normal turn action in addition to its counteractions. That's the only real benefit here; these two aren't exactly powerhouses.
Notes
- In addition to taking action normally on their Phase of each turn, any time that any one of a Biddysqueak's opponents takes an action, all Biddysqueaks present in the battle will immediately, regardless of normal turn order or having acted already, perform one action of the same type that that opponent just took: those types being Attack, Defend, Use Item, Run Away, or Do Nothing. If a Biddysqueak is unable to perform that type of action, such as having no items to use after the opponent used one, then that Biddysqueak will Do Nothing for its counteraction, and Biddysqueaks that are Paralyzed or the like will not be able to counteract at all. Since Running Away works differently for enemies than players, a player's failed attempt at Running Away will cause all Biddysqueaks that are able to act to successfully Run Away, leaving only any other types of enemies in the battle, but awarding no XP for those Biddysqueaks. When a Biddysqueak attacks, including using an attacking item, it will as a rule target the opponent who just attacked and thereby gave it the chance to attack, even if that opponent didn't target that Biddysqueak, but if it can't reach that opponent it will attack another rather than Doing Nothing, unless it can't reach any of them.
