Information
A black-headed plant more resembling a Nipper than a Piranha. It's less an enemy than a feature of the landscape, and would probably be better rendered as a field hazard in Arpeggio, but if you need it as an enemy, here's my attempt. Because Munchers just sit there munching and never move, they don't attack in battle, but they have an effect similar to Spikiness where they munch direct attackers for 2 damage. I've also given them the same 100 Defense Power as Thwomps, since they're generally pretty solid and hard to destroy. Lastly, they make use of the Braindead Mental Disorder, making them completely immune to psychic attacks (as well as unable to use them, not that they know any): they're truly more like actual plants than any of their Piranhoid relatives.
Notes
- ~Made of Plant
- ~Unarmed melee attackers take 2 damage and their attacks get interrupted, similar to Spikiness. This effect doesn't occur if the Muncher is Paralyzed, Frozen, etc.
