Information
Bipedal, sentient turtles; the color refers to their turtle shell. The basic infantry units of King Bowser Koopa's Koopa Troop. In Paper Mario, Green Koopas were friendly NPCs while Red Koopas were enemies, but in most games, both are enemies, with Green ones charging ahead off cliffs and Red ones turning around at such ledges. This has sometimes been framed as Green Koopas being "braver" and Red ones being "smarter," which I've accounted for in their field stats in Arpeggio, but their combat stats are identical.
