Pikmin NPC Species Sheets
Here I've got sheets for individual types of Pikmin as well as a sheet for how to
treat them as a whole squad, which works like the Shy Guy
army and the Fuzzy Horde, with the whole group
being treated as one targetable entity. Keep in mind that in addition to the different colors,
Pikmin can also be found in Leaf, Bud, and
Flower forms; in Arpeggio, higher life stages allow them more hits per turn.
I've also added my own variety, Groinkmin, an old idea I've had since Pikmin 2,
as well as two types from a fanfiction that I like, Fluff Pikmin and
Thorn Pikmin. To avoid squads getting excessively complicated, I've said that
Pikmin, whether solo or in a squad, are immune to all
Status Problems and
Status Benefits except for Instant Death, but you
can get them a combined Attack +1 and Fast status by using an
Ultra-Spicy Spray, an item that only works on
Pikmin (again, whether singular or a whole squad).
These Pikmin mechanics are somewhat tongue-in-cheek as a full squad is dealing damage in the hundreds to a Defenseless target but is rendered completely harmless by a few points of Defense. However, Arpeggio could be converted from an experience taking after Paper Mario to one more resembling Pikmin by giving enemies hundreds of HP but no Defense. For a Pikmin squad to appear in a more typical game of Arpeggio, care should be taken so that their mechanics don't end up causing something unexpected; things might be made slightly less ridiculous by limiting the squad's maximum number to something much smaller than 100.
